William Felizer Nicolas, BSIP’79, President of the U.P. Pharmacy Alumni Association (UPPAA) and ex-officio member of the UPAA Board, died last December 5, 2014, Friday. He was shot in his car by a masked gunman as he was driving out of the Commonwealth Heights Subdivision in Barangay Commonwealth, Litex, Quezon City. He was also the secretary of the subdivision’s homeowners association.
Bill, a highly respected and well-liked associate by his colleagues in the UPPAA and UPAA, left behind his wife, Dr. Marilou G. Nicolas, former U.P. Asst. Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Executive Director of the UP Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS); children Anna Katrina; Bill Russell; Kristina and husband Renato Mejia; Dana Elisa; and grandchild Sophie.
Born on May 31, 1951, Bill was a native of Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
Cremation scheduled on December 13, 2014, after the 9:00 A.M. mass at the Loyola Memorial Chapel
