The UP Los Banos College of Agriculture Alumni Association is starting its active search for 2010 Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna. UPCA alumni will be recognized for their significant contributions in the practice of agriculture profession in any of the following categories:

• Agriculture Entrepreneurship
• Science and Technology
• Teaching
• Institutional Organization and Development
• Public Service and Extension
• International Service and Cooperation
• Peace and Development
• Rural Youth Development and Entrepreneurship
• Higher Education/Research Administration

If the nominee has any significant contributions that do not fall in any of the above categories, this should be indicate in the nomination letter and the justification in considering the nominee for such category.

The UPLBCAAA is inviting all UP Agriculture Alumni to nominate a fellow alumnus/alumna for the College of Agriculture's Distinguished Alumni Award. This award is not only meant to recognize the contribution of the UPCA alumni to national and international development but also to inspire more alumni and current CA students on the nobility of the agriculture profession.
