The UP Jubilarians of 2010 held a successful mini-reunion and planning meeting last February 3, Wednesday, at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman.

Members of the celebrating batches of Classes 1950 (Diamond), 1960 (Golden), 1970 (Ruby) and 1985 (Silver) coming to meet with old friends and classmates, update one another on their lives, and plan their programs and activities for the  upcoming UP-UPAA General Faculty-Alumni Homecoming and Reunion to be held this June.

Other projects discussed were the scheduling of a photo session in order to facilitate the collection of individual photos to be used in the alumni yearbook to be released during the homecoming.

In fact, the mini-reunions are of themselves photo shoots for the attending Jubilarians, and stolen and not-so-stolen group and individual shots taken from these Jubilarian meetings will be also be published in the yearbook—hence the dress code of barong for men and semi-formal wear for women.

The board members of the UP Alumni Association were also in attendance in order to brief the Jubilarians on the activities of the UPAA. Present during the Feb. 3 mini-reunion were Ms. Agnes Essem B. Perez, Chair of the Sub-Committee on Jubilarians; Dr. Sylvia H. Guerrero, Co-Chair or the Sub-Committee on Jubilarians; Prof. Benjamin Cervantes, Chair of the Sub-Committee on Program; Mr. Ruben J. Pascual, Chair of the Sub-Committee on Yearbook Publication; Ms. Elena V. Romero, Chair of the Sub-Committee on Publicity; Mr. Alfredo E. Pascual, President of the UPAA; Ms. Gladys S.J. Tiongco, First UPAA Vice President; Ms. Evelina G. Escudero, Treasurer; Ms. Milagros A. De Guzman, Assistant Treasurer; Mr. Simeon A. Cuyson, Chair of the Membership Development Committee; and Mr. Romeo H. Gecolea, Executive Director of the UPAA.
